Sol's commercial solar lighting products are listed on the GSA Federal Supply Schedule under SOL INC. GSA has established a government wide contract with Sol to provide access and discounted pricing to government customers. Products including equipment, poles, and installation can be ordered using the GSA schedule.
For 20 years, Sol's commercial solar lights have been used at DOD facilities worldwide. These applications include:

Sol is also included in the President's Executive Order 13123. "Greening the Government Through Efficient Energy Management." In part 4, section 403, (h) Off-Grid Generation - Solar Outdoor Lighting is specifically mentioned as one of the tools agencies shall use to meet the goals of this order.
Federal Civilian Agencies
In addition to the Defense Department, Sol has provided solar lighting systems to hundreds of Federal agencies as a sensible renewable energy that is cost effective and eco-friendly. Sol systems provide an economical lighting alternative where safety and security are important to staff and visitors.
