Smart design that puts customers first
We built the EverGen 3 to simplify solar lighting from installation to maintenance. Assembly has been streamlined—mechanical parts were cut from 12 to 5, and screws from 54 to just 20. Installation now takes as little as 15 minutes, a fraction of the time required by competitor systems (or previous EverGen models).
But it’s not just about speed—it’s about long-term reliability and easy upkeep. The EverGen 3 features a pre-galvanized steel frame and a pre-assembled modular power case, housing our advanced SunnaCore energy management system and high-efficiency LiFePO4 battery. A quick-access hatch speeds battery and component swaps, reducing site visit time.
High-performance fixtures that elevate the system
Fixtures are the most visible part of any lighting system, which is why we don’t leave them to chance. Rather than relying on generic imports or developing our own, we’ve partnered with Acuity, the leading name in American lighting. This lets us focus on building the best solar engine while offering fixture options already trusted by cities and businesses.
Through Acuity, EverGen 3 customers can access a curated range of decorative and roadway fixtures designed for long-term performance. These fixtures deliver industry-leading control, uniformity, and efficiency. It’s the best of both worlds: Sol’s robust solar platform paired with Acuity’s best-in-class fixtures.
Customized, responsive illumination that enhances efficiency
EverGen 3 systems are pre-configured with lighting profiles tailored to each site—whether that’s dimming late at night, shutting off during inactive hours, or ramping up before early-morning use. Dual schedules (e.g., weekday vs. weekend or seasonal) provide further flexibility.
Optional motion detection transforms static, dusk-to-dawn lighting into dynamic, responsive illumination. Lights brighten when activity is detected and dim again when the area is empty, conserving energy when full brightness isn’t needed while ensuring safety and visibility when it is.
With group communication (another optional feature) enabled, a single light detecting motion can trigger others up to 150 yards away to brighten in sync. This ensures a well-lit path that moves with users—ideal for parks, pathways, and parking lots where constant lighting would waste energy.
Hybrid power that ensures uninterrupted lighting
For critical infrastructure and sites where lighting must stay on, the EverGen 3’s optional hybrid power feature delivers peace of mind. No matter the conditions—winter weather, cloud cover—your lights stay on.
The system runs primarily on solar and switches to grid power only when battery charge drops below 20%. This ensures continuous illumination, keeps costs low, and maximizes sustainability. Plus, its solar-first design helps qualify for energy efficiency grants and tax incentives.
Monitoring and communication that’s one step ahead
The EverGen 3 is ready for today’s intelligent infrastructure. With global satellite monitoring (GSM) connectivity, systems form a secure network that sends data to our SunnaCloud platform. This browser-based dashboard provides detailed asset data, performance analytics, and maintenance alerts so you can monitor your lighting network from anywhere.
And for cities investing in smart infrastructure, the EverGen 3 offers future-ready networked lighting control (NLC) capabilities. While full D4i compatibility in solar is still emerging, the EverGen 3 can already power D4i NLCs, ensuring customers won’t need to replace fixtures or nodes as the technology matures.
