When PDVSA started planning construction on a new staff housing complex, they knew street lighting would be a challenge. The local electrical grid was unreliable and difficult to access. PDVSA was also seeking to fulfill a corporate mandate to move towards eco-friendly infrastructure. The street lighting would ensure the safety and security of the housing complex’s residents, so it needed to meet specific performance and reliability expectations. PDVSA sought the help of local green energy experts Iner Consultores.
