Find Sol at the 2018 Texas Recreation and Parks Society (TRAPS) Expo, held this year at the Waco Convention Center in Waco, Texas. Solar lighting is a sustainable solution for enhancing park usage. But it can also help cities meet renewable energy goals, which was one of the motivations for the City of San Jose to add our newest product, the EverGen M Series, to Chris Hotts Park in 2017. Visit us at booth 518 to learn more about the community benefits of solar lights.
The TRAPS theme this year is Bridge Together to commemorate Waco’s historic bridges—but it also refers to the positive connections that TRAPS hopes are made in Waco. “Our hope is that you will discover ways to bridge new partnerships, opportunities, and programs with vendors, attendees, and suppliers alike,” says John Williams, Waco Parks and Recreation Director. Attendees can visit the expo to see a wide range of products and services from building and construction exhibitors. Meanwhile, educational seminars, sessions, and tours include “The Arts in our Parks,” “State of Aquatics in Texas,” “Maximizing Time Outdoors,” and more.
One way to maximize time outdoors is to add lighting to increase the hours a park can be open each day. Visit Sol’s booth to learn more about solar lighting for pathways and parks.
